The Plays

Cheaper by the Dozen and Belles on their Toes were both adapted for stage.

Cheaper by the Dozen continues to be a very popular production for schools and community theaters. It is no wonder--it's a great tale and it has a large number of parts! It was adapted for stage by Christopher Sergel and originally published in 1950 by Dramatic Publishing.

Belles on their Toes was adapted for stage by William Roos and originally published by Dramatic Publishing in 1952.

Dramatic Publishing still publishes both of these plays. If you are interested in a copy or putting them on in your theater, visit their web site for the details.
