The Plays Cheaper by the Dozen and Belles on their Toes were both adapted for stage. Cheaper by the Dozen continues to be a very popular production for schools and community theaters. Belles on their Toes was adapted for stage by William Roos and originally published by Dramatic Publishing in 1952. Dramatic Publishing still publishes both of these plays.
